Happy Monday, fabulous folks and creative hearts πŸ™‚ This morning’s pin board is helping me get the creative juices flowing for a new painting, “Truthfully Tomatoes”, which I’ll be entering into this contest, put on by Boutique Hotel Collection in celebration of another tomato harvest. The proceeds will help to support women cancer survivors.

I’m looking forward to being a part of it and I’ll do my best to cook up some juicy art. What creative projects are you attempting to tackle this week?? If you have any you’d like to share, post a comment with a link to your project or blog. It would be fun to hear what you’re up to!

Hi Holly: Love your ‘red’ inspiration board — and of course ‘red’ is a favorite color that makes me smile anyway. πŸ™‚ And guess what, over the past two days I’ve enjoyed the taste of an heirloom tomato that was red with a hint of purple, green, and yellow on the skin; then there were the small cherry tomatoes fresh from a friend’s garden bed (they tasted like sunshine); and I also got to enjoy bites of two different raspberries — one reddish-pink and sweet and the other reddish purple — and even sweeter! Talk about ‘reds’ making me smile! πŸ™‚ Have fun creating, gifted artist! Love, Debbie. πŸ™‚

    • That heirloom tomato sounds beautiful! So do those raspberries (as well as delicious!). Aren’t reds so beautiful?! Yesterday it felt SO good to paint all day. I’ll be dropping my painting off for the contest later today πŸ™‚ I’m definitely enjoying it!!
